  1. On a planet where everyone's minds are always connected, all thoughts belong to the collective, and a certain level of standardization and generalization is reached in order to maintain harmony. You also can't hide any details at all.

    Imagine a scenario in which you will be receiving bad news... perhaps a notification of a death or confronting a partner about cheating. Would you want to know every single gruesome, gory detail? In all honesty? And could you come back after something like that and completely forgive?
